2006 RIESLING - Museum Release
We are delighted to release this still youthful wine as our next cellar release Riesling. While 2006 was a restrained year, the luscious nature of this wine with some age is exciting and intriguing. It is simply a delight to drink.
Still pale and bright in the glass, this wine has a fresh nose with hints of pear and creamy macadamia nut overtones. The soft, intense palate has fleshy white stone fruit and a line of gently poised acidity from start to finish. The palate is rounded by a creamy mid section juxtaposed with a stoney/mineral quality that adds complexity and a texturally lush quality. Wonderfully long on the finish. Exciting.
