2008 CABERNET SAUVIGNON
Wonderful primary fruit layered with spice and astute integration of wood introduce this youthful wine. Only just entering its prime, the wine shows blackberry, mulberry and black cherry, together with hints of bay leaf and allspice. Richly textured and layered, the elegant, fine tannins are starting to soften in this complex, densely structured wine. Evenly balanced throughout, the interplay between fine oak, fruit and spice continue to open in the glass, with balanced acidity lending excellent length and persistence. We're delighted with this release which will certainly reward further cellaring.
